Exploring Food Access in America

Jimmy J. Esquibel

I am currently a Sociology Ph.D. candidate at Oklahoma State University. I research various socioeconomic disadvantages related to food, food access, and food justice in the United States. My research focuses on how food access intersects with race and ethnicity, economic and cultural inequality, and poverty. I also utilize GIS software in my research to better understand spatial disparities in food access.
